Regional Integration Coordinator, African Development Bank (AfDB)
Ms. Ometere Omoluabi-Davies is the Regional Integration Coordinator at the African Development Bank (AfDB) Nigeria Country Department. She leads the Bank’s regional integration initiatives for Nigeria, focusing on trade facilitation, agribusiness, and cross-border cooperation. Her work supports the AfDB’s “Integrate Africa” priority and aligns with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) framework. She co-authored and led the development of the West Africa Regional Integration Strategy Paper (RISP) 2020–2025, which guides a USD 4.52 billion investment plan for infrastructure, trade, and business integration. Under her coordination, the Bank mobilized over USD 884 million for 70 regional projects between 2020 and 2023. She also represents the AfDB in engagements with ECOWAS and other partners on regional trade, food security, and climate resilience. Drawing from experience in both the multilateral and private sectors, Ms. Omoluabi-Davies combines strategic leadership with practical expertise in development finance and trade policy. Her work emphasizes investment facilitation, private sector linkages, and inclusive growth, particularly for women and youth across West Africa.
